About Ginger

Ginger Silverman is a nationally known marketer and expert in the field of corporate communications. For nearly 25 years, she has been a senior marketing executive for several leading Fortune 1000 corporations, including Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, HomeBase, Prudential Real Estate and Relocation and Ogilvy & Mather Advertising.

As a corporate C-Level executive, she has experience developing individual talent and disciplines across all types of companies—small and large, family-owned and publicly held, established and turnaround, well-funded and chronically starting up. She helps her clients gain greater benefit from their natural strengths, and to develop and harness their capability as they identify and commit to their own meaningful directions and goals. Ginger builds training programs based on the holistic needs of the individual or team and the corporation’s goals. She also trains managers in coaching and feedback, usually within the context of performance management systems that she designs with her clients.

As a feedback facilitator, Ginger delivers individual 360-degree feedback reports, as well as working with participants as they decipher results from attitude surveys. Her interest began while at Pepsico divisions Pizza Hut Inc. and Taco Bell Corp. where she participated in the high-intensity training programs for which this Fortune 500 Company is known. She held senior level marketing positions with HomeBase Inc. and Prudential Real Estate and Relocation. She managed branding and lead generation campaigns, public relations, web-based social media and internet business P & Ls. Ginger also was responsible for new business development and supported the sales functions in several of her assignments, specifically Prudential Real Estate and Lindora Medical Weight Control. Ginger has worked as a consultant within both the private sector (manufacturing, recycling, and healthcare) and the public sector (food service and web-based product delivery).

Throughout her career, Ginger has been committed to ongoing personal and professional development. She earned a Masters in Fine Arts, in Creative Writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles. She attended the Center For Creative Leadership and earned certification in the 360° assessment and training tools, including Benchmarks, SKILLSCOPE, 360ByDesign, Executive Dimensions, and Prospector.

Ginger is an active member of several professional networks, including the American Marketing Association, the Public Relations Society of America, and the Forum for Corporate Directors. She is passionate about “giving back” and serves on several not-for-profit boards including Susan G. Komen for the Cure Orange County affiliate (currently serving as Marketing Committee chair), the Young Musicians Foundation (Past Chairman and currently serves on the Business Advisory committee) and the South Coast Singers (currently serving as Marketing Chair)

She is an educational ambassador for the Advertising Education Federation and has been a member of the American Marketing Association for more than 20 years. She is a mother, singer and author of The Virginia Monologues. Her award-winning essays have been published in A Cup of Comfort, Health magazine and others.

About Joe

Joe Estes, our chief technologist, has worked with startups, enterprises, and government agencies for over 13 years, helping them develop innovative, successful, and lasting software products.

Since the mobile industry exploded in 2007, he has been at the forefront of mobile app development. Joe led mobile development for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and worked with his team to develop the first apps in the agency and in the enterprise app store, now serving as the archetype for app commerce across all of NASA.

Joe was later recruited from JPL to become Director of Software Development for iViu Technologies. With his team at iViu, he architected a first of its kind indoor micro-granular location service which is used by some the largest retailers in the world.

After iViu, Joe co-founded Goalability, Inc., the mobile software company that developed Goalability, a social goal management app. The app is used all over the world to assist users in achieving their life goals through the motivation of their social networks.

Most recently, Joe joined Dream Diabetes as Chief Architect. He leads the architecture, design, and development of the Dream Diabetes Management System and Dream Mobile app.

In his spare time, he speaks about lean mobile development to interest groups, colleges, and local startups. He is active in the startup companies he has developed and continues to institute long lasting value to them. It is with his results-oriented, end to end, product development approach, that Joe continues to achieve success after success in these efforts.

About Michaella

Michaella Manning is a graphic designer who specializes in visual web design, branding, and marketing promotional materials. She started designing websites for fun in her teens back in the late 90’s and continues to have a passion for the ever-changing modern design world.

With panache and an eye for clean, detailed, and impactful designs, she finds inspiration coming in many forms, from pop culture and fashion to history and world cultures. In her spare time Michaella enjoys oriental dance, making jewelry, and 1920’s glamour and jazz.
